First you must buy two homeopathic drops. NERSIN and INFEKSIN I have used products from Holistica-Medica in Denmark http://www.holistica-medica.dk/site/infeksin_2 and http://www.holistica-medica.dk/site/nersin_1 10 drops from each bottle, should be given for the first 14 days in the food. Add one teaspoon of Lecithin granules a day also add one Selenium and one B vitamin from day one. Infeksin and Nersin cost for both bottles 6/3 2009 almost 40 dollars. I have a male 2yr old shar pei and for the last few months it looks like he has broken out with CM. We have not been treating as it didn't seem to bother him...but he is very itchy now. The itchyness is likely due to allergies which we are trying to address however it means he's scratching the bubbles and their breaking. Plus it seems like they've gotten worse over the last few weeks. Can you provide some advice on treatments that I should discuss with my vet? Also, for the vitamins you list above can you provide dosage amounts?

Hey Chrissy.
Please do as your vet suggested,it will help in short terms and then CM will return worse than it was,dont worry,this is easy to treat,just take some time to get all bubbles go away.Never heard of both mum and daugther have this,do they both have heavy socks???Please give both less protein for some time,this has helped a pei in Austria tremendesly together with my treatment I am still looking into this.

Excuse me for being so very late answering you.
You can do two things here,buy one remedy for infection and the other one for nerves,both must be homeopathic or let me send the two remedies I use here in Denmark,they have around 350 remedies added in their recipe.Also remember to do excaltly as I write above.Is it possible for you to send me pictures of your pei????How bad is the CM looking and where is it showing on your pei and if the bubbles burst use Colloidal silver to clean the bubbles.

The daughter has just broken out with cutaneous mucinosis, we took her to the vet and they have put her on Amoxyclav and Prednil Tables.
We notice the treatment you sugguested was didferent to what the vet put our dog on, should we be asking for the treatment you suggested?
One more question since the daughter has broken out with cutaneous mucinosis the mother has broken out as well?
Is there a link between the two?
